Things We’ll Remember

We’ll remember her exuberance, her affection, her interest in all things, and her amazing energy level– all of which lasted well into her fifteenth year. We’ll never stop missing her, and she’ll never be forgotten.

Waking up with her head on your pillow.

Cruising through McDonald’s, to pick up morning coffee.

Getting ready for a walk.

Wishing I’d stop caterwauling, and get out the dog treats.

Her bonds with beloved pals Cody and Mia.

Her bonds with her humans.

Heading home from the groomer’s house. She called them “The Triplets.”

Keeping the yard free of rascally bunnies.

Celebrating her love of the beach.

Snoozing, in one of her preposterous sleeping positions.

Zipping from room to room and floor to floor, in unquenchable exuberance.

Exploring nooks, crannies, and niches.

Her fur frizz… like a cartoon character who’d stuck a finger in a live socket.

Being comforted by her buddies during her illness.

Most of all, though, we’ll remember the pleasure of her company.
